September Images

September and October are usually great months for sunrises at Cutler Park, but this September seemed to be nothing but rain and fog. Instead of stunning sunrises like these from last year's September . . .

I was seeing things like this . . .

and this . . .

(Take my word for it, there are flying geese in the image above.)

Fortunately, however, there were a few days when the rain and fog disappeared and I got sunrises like this . . .

and this . . .

And I even got a beautiful sunSET and MOONrise . . .

There was also some beautiful light in the woods along the path . . .

even when the light was muted by the fog.
